Give Your Child a School Year Rooted in Nature
Kids need places where they can slow down, get their hands dirty, follow their curiosity, take healthy risks, and feel like they truly belong in the natural world.
That is the heart of our Twin Eagles Monthly Youth Program in Spokane, beginning September 26 for kids ages 6-13.
This program includes eight full day-long sessions over the course of the school year, gathering for one consecutive Saturday and Sunday at a time, twice in the fall and twice in the spring.
Over those eight days, kids become part of a consistent community of nature-based learners and experienced mentors. They'll track animals, build natural shelters, explore wild edible and medicinal plants, practice sensory awareness, make native crafts, learn local ecology, hear stories, play wild games, take on group challenges, and follow the countless mysteries that emerge when we give children the time and space to really connect with the land.
But what we're really after goes deeper than the activities.
Through nature-based mentoring, we help kids become more confident outdoors, more aware of themselves and the world around them, more connected to one another, and increasingly at home in nature.
More than just outdoor recreation, this is an opportunity for kids to develop a relationship with the natural world that can grow with them throughout their childhood.

Registration is open now, and we still have plenty of room for more kids to join this year's community.
