Teen Winter Snow Cave Expedition
January 23 - 25, 2026
What will your teen remember years from now when they think back on this season of their life? It likely will not be the rush of the school week or the glow of a screen. More often it is the moments where they stepped into something real with trusted mentors and a circle of peers. Moments where they discovered what they are capable of. Moments where the natural world called out a deeper strength inside them.
That is the heart of our Teen Winter Snow Cave Expedition.
Over three winter days together, teens will enter a landscape that invites courage, teamwork, and steady presence. This is part of our Seasonal Teen Rendezvous series and offers a powerful mix of hands-on skills and personal growth.
Here is what they will experience:
- Traveling mountain trails on snowshoes
- Learning to build their own snow caves and sleeping in them
- Tracking wildlife and reading stories written across fresh snow
- Playing awareness games that sharpen their senses
- Sharing songs, stories, and teachings of the winter season
- Strengthening friendships with teens from across our bio-region
We have space for a few more teens to join us. This is a meaningful winter challenge and a chance for young people to grow confidence through real skills and shared adventure.
