Cook with Heart and Purpose in the Idaho Wilderness Now Hiring: Lead Cook and Assistant Cook for Twin Eagles 2026 Programs Dear Twin Eagles Community, As we prepare for another season of deep nature connection mentoring, we’re reaching out with a real and immediate need. We are currently looking for the right people to step into our Lead Cook and Assistant Cook roles for our 2026 programs. Our camps, held in the wilderness north of Priest River, Idaho, are powerful, life-changing experiences for youth and families. And the kitchen sits right at the center of that experience. Right now, we are especially in need of a Lead Cook, and we would deeply appreciate your help in finding the right person. Lead Cook We are seeking a grounded, organized, and capable cook to lead the kitchen for one or more of our programs this season, including our summer overnight camps in July-August and our Father Son Wilderness Programs in May, August & September. This role involves: Planning and preparing nourishing meals for 25-45 participants and staff Managing the kitchen flow and food systems Leading an Assistant Cook and supporting volunteers Working full days in a dynamic outdoor environment We have strong menu systems and support in place. What matters most is finding someone who can step in with steadiness, care, and follow-through. Assistant Cook We are also hiring Assistant Cooks for our overnight camps and Father Son programs. This role supports the Lead Cook with: Food prep and meal service Kitchen organization and cleanup Supporting a smooth, steady kitchen rhythm It’s a great role for someone who enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a meaningful camp experience.
