Summer Camp Registration Opens Tuesday February 3 at 6:00 pm Pacific!

Get your kids outside and connected to nature this summer!
Mark your calendar: Twin Eagles Summer Camps registration opens Tuesday, February 3 at 6:00 pm Pacific.
For over 20 years now, we’ve been offering deep nature connection mentoring here in the Inland Northwest. Long before forest schools, outdoor education trends, or wilderness skills found their way into the mainstream, our community was already gathering in the meadows, forests, lakesides, and mountains to help young people build authentic relationships with nature, community, family, and self.
This coming summer, we’re offering 16 different camps across Sandpoint, Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, Priest River, and Bozeman, Montana. Each one is held by caring, skilled mentors and shaped around play, skill, belonging, and the confidence that grows when kids feel at home on the land.
We’d love to have your family join us!
Register early for the best selection of camps
We encourage families to register as close to opening time as possible in order to get the best selection of camps.
Over the years, our camps have continued to fill in a wide range of timelines. Some fill within hours or days, others over a few weeks or months, and a few still have space closer to the start date. Cancellations do happen, and when they do, we do our best to open spots back up.
If a camp you’re excited about is full, we recommend joining the waitlist and checking back. Openings often appear when you least expect them.
Our 2026 summer camp webpage is fully updated with dates, ages, locations, and pricing, so now is a great time to explore the options and start making a plan.
Between now and February 3, we encourage families to look closely at the camp options, talk it over together, and decide what weeks you’re aiming for so registration goes smoothly when it opens.

A Glimpse of the Camp Possibilities This Summer
Here’s a simple look at the paths youth can step into in 2026:
All of our theme-based day camps are open to ages 6 to 13, and each one offers a different doorway into the natural world:
Nature Adventurers – exploration, games, and first doorways into the wild
Wilderness Survival – shelters, fire, and learning how to meet real needs from the land
Forest Scouts – stealth, tracking, and moving like part of the forest itself
Crafts and Foraging – making natural crafts, food, and simple medicines from what the land provides
We also offer two immersive overnight camps. One for ages 10 to 13, designed as a first step into sleeping on the land and deeper wilderness skills, and one for teens, focused on community, leadership, and extended time living close to the Earth.
Full descriptions, dates, and locations are all on the website, so you can take your time exploring and planning what feels right for your child or teen.
No Limits on How Many Camps You Can Join
Families are welcome to register for as many camps as they’d like.
Some kids come for a single week. Others return again and again through the summer because they’ve found a place that feels like home. If your child is excited to keep going, you’re free to follow that momentum and sign up for multiple camps across the season.
What’s New for 2026
This year, we made a few changes based on what we’ve learned and what we’ve heard from families.
All Day Camps Open to Ages 6–13
Every theme-based day camp is now open to kids ages 6 to 13. This keeps things simple and allows children to start wherever their curiosity pulls them, without feeling like they need to follow a specific track.
With this shift, you’ll also notice more of our specialty-themed camps returning to the schedule, alongside a smaller number of Nature Adventures camps.
Carving and Knife Skills Are Back at All Camps
We heard clearly from kids and parents alike that carving and knife skills are a meaningful part of the Twin Eagles experience. This year, we’re bringing them back across all camps, including Nature Adventures.
As always, safety and readiness guide how this is introduced. In general, carving is typically offered to children around age eight and up, with younger campers participating in alternative activities when needed. Carving knives will once again be available through our camp store at all camps.
Summer Day Camps in Bozeman, Montana!
We’re excited to be offering Twin Eagles Summer Day Camps in Bozeman for a third year in a row.
These camps are led by Jesse Hoag, who has two decades of experience with Twin Eagles, dating back to when he first joined us as a young teenager. If you have friends or family in the Bozeman area, we’d be grateful if you shared this with them.

Mentor-In-Training (MIT) Program for Teens!
For teens ages 14 and up who feel called to go deeper, our Mentor-in-Training Program offers a powerful opportunity to step into leadership, responsibility, and service within the Twin Eagles community.
This program is designed for youth who love being here and want to begin learning the art of mentoring younger campers.

What Parents Are Saying
"This school should not even be in the same category as any around here! Twin Eagles is by far my children’s favorite program. It's a beautiful experience for the children as well as the parents from start to finish. What Twin Eagles is cultivating here is exactly what we try and cultivate at home and that’s a special thing. I’ve watched my kids blossom in so many ways after truly being a part of this program. I’m so grateful for this program and everything it has brought to our family!" -Sarah
"My son has absolutely loved the connection with nature and the wonderful, centered and connected staff. Thank you for all that you do!" -Naomi
"One of the most significant aspects that sets Twin Eagles apart from other summer camps is the mentoring that happens. The special connection with staff over the years has been so beneficial for our son. It has given him confidence in himself. It has also shown him that other adults love him, believe in him, and will challenge him in a caring and connected way." -Michelle
