Twin Eagles Wilderness School Update July 12, 2011 Leadership Mentoring Program Fundraiser!! Hello friends of Twin Eagles Wilderness School! You have probably heard by now about the incredible opportunity Tim & Jeannine (co-Founders & co-Directors of Twin Eagles) are ready to embark on - a Leadership Mentoring Program being led by Jon & Nicole Young of the 8 Shields Institute, designed to bring them on a transformational and supportive journey to help them grow, become more prosperous, and better serve the greater Twin Eagles community. 
We had a great conference call with Jon & Nicole last Friday, where the critical importance of this program was described - how now is the time to take this grassroots movement into the mainstream in order to bring deep nature connection mentoring out to the world at large, and how the movement's leaders, like Tim & Jeannine, are being called upon to step up into our next phase of growth. It is critical to the movement at large, as well as the health & well-being of Twin Eagles. We were so proud of Twin Eagles strong representation on the call! If you haven't heard it yet, listen to it here.We are clear that this is a very important next step in our growth and the growth of Twin Eagles. The strong mentoring through blocks, the deep calling and powerful synchronicity around this program are all signs leading the way. The only thing holding us back is funding. In order to participate, we need your help, and we are asking you to please make a financial contribution today! I recently read an article about the nature of community. Here it is, paraphrased: "The stability, power and longevity of a community is directly related to the way it is treated by its members. When many of them seek to take, to enrich themselves or to find a loophole or advantage, the community is weakened. The community we get is the community we build. I don't think we can abdicate our responsibilities within a community to the leaders. The opportunity is simple: the more each individual gives, the more each of us end up getting." It is in this spirit that we are asking for your financial support at this time - let each individual give, so that we can all end up getting much more in the end. Perhaps more importantly, so that the future generations can get a healthier world long after we are gone. Here is a recent testamony from one of our community members: Hi Tim & Jeannine, When I saw this email I immediately felt its spiritual importance for you and Jeannine. Instantly I knew that I needed to support you in this. It was very clear. Then, as sometimes happens, my mind quickly became engaged in identifying all the ways in which I wouldn't be able to provide support. Thankfully I was able to set these thoughts aside and have the faith to follow my heart and intuition. I had to consciously work at being completely open to all possibilities of providing support. I can't help but notice the synchronicity that this email landed on the same day we were scheduled to speak with each other about your mentoring me in the deep nature connection circle that I have established up here. You and Jeannine have given so much to us, your community, and continue to do so. As we spoke this evening, my intuition reminded me of the donations that are sitting in my desk that I have received from the people I have been mentoring in. Instantly I knew how those donations would best serve all of us. I pledge these to you and Jeannine in support of you in this mentorship opportunity. I also commit to giving everyone in that circle an opportunity to donate directly to this cause when we meet again this Sunday. I know that it takes great courage to reach out for help when it is needed and I commend you both for this.
