Twin Eagles Wilderness School Update July 7, 2011 SUPPORT US TO SUPPORT YOU! Here at Twin Eagles, we have some very exciting news to share with you. Tim & Jeannine's longtime friends and mentors Jon & Nicole Young have created a new Leadership Mentoring Program designed specifically for founders & directors of nature connection organizations such as us, and we (Tim & Jeannine) have decided to participate in it! Jon & Nicole run the 8 Shields Institute, and are true leaders and high level mentors in the International Nature Connection Mentoring movement, that now influences over 200 Wilderness Schools worldwide including Twin Eagles. 
When we first read about this program, our jaws dropped - it was as if someone had taken most if not all of our biggest challenges as stakeholders, leaders and directors and neatly listed them one by one, then created a program designed specifically to address these issues! For years we have yearned for higher level mentoring to support us through the very unique challenges that directing Twin Eagles has presented us, and now this phenomenal opportunity is here. Wow! While Jon & Nicole are putting this program out to the leaders of all the nature connection organizations throughout our network, they are taking at most just 16 individuals for this powerful and transformative journey. It has been years since we have felt so deeply called to participate in a program the way we do now. It is clear that this program has the potential to affect significant positive change right at the center of Twin Eagles, and thus throughout the greater Twin Eagles community throughout the Inland Northwest. Part of why we have decided to participate in this program is because Jon & Nicole will support and mentor us in restructuring and redesigning Twin Eagles and how to better target who we are meant to serve. This has been one of our biggest challenges with the school. Another struggle has been not asking for help.Thus, in order to participate, We Need Your Help and Support and Are Asking for It!
